A simple question and answer page to help you learn about what the hell you just stumbled upon.

What kind of fed is this?
Han Imperial Wrestling is a b-fed (blog based fed) that’s based on both the video game Dynasty Warriors as well as it’s parent book, Romance of the Three Kingdoms by Luo Guanzhong. Basically, my goal is to take the characters from these wonderful works, and import them into a fictionalized version of a wrestling company. Sometimes, you’ll notice the storylines and characters shadow events in the book and games, other times I’ll take my own route. My goal is to write a compelling, entertaining show, not something that is completely faithful. After all, I’m fairly certain Luo Guanzhong was a better writer than I am, and if you want to read the exact story of Romance… well, there’s the actual book(s).


Who runs the place?
On an OOC basis? Myself, Daniel Pollaski. You might know me as the handler of several characters, most notably Terrence Thompson and Wendy Briese- the WhirlyBirdz. I’ve also handled Pollaski (a HIGHLY fictionalized version of myself), and Radioactive Love. This is my second attempt running a fed, after my stint running Silver State Wrestling. Please don’t ever ask anyone how that went. I’d like to think I became a much more competent booker and storyteller after thirteen years.

On an in-character basis? Well, nominally the Emperor, but as you’re going to find out soon, he’s not going to be all that involved here (since, y’know, he has to run a country and all). The original Romance of the Three Kingdoms was about the struggle for power, so expect that to be an ongoing theme in HIW as well.

Does anyone help out?
Right now, no. All shows are booked and written by myself. However, if you have an idea for a feud/match/storyline/whatever, or any feedback whatsoever, I’d love to hear it.


I'd like to start roleplaying...
Whoah… hang on there sparky. Sadly, this isn’t that kind of fed. HIW won’t involve handlers, but rather be exclusively booked and written by myself, for now. However, I do hope to entertain others with this endeavor, and if I can come up with ways to encourage participation, you can bet I will.

As it is, I’d definitely put it on the expert-level, but if you’re willing to take a few bumps as you flesh things out, it can also be an excellent place to learn the game.

What Are The Shows?
HIW has one “weekly” show, called Warriors. I put weekly in quotes because I don’t anticipate getting a show up every week, and I’m not going to put that kind of pressure on myself. But from a kayfabe standpoint, the gap between shows will be one week. I plan on doing a 4-1 cycle, with 4 episodes of Warriors followed by a Supercard, which will constitute a “month” in the HIW calendar. For show length, I plan on Warriors to have about six matches to start, with PPV’s to contain about 10, more in depth matches.


What titles does HIW have?
HIW will start with four titles. There’s a fifth quasi-title that will be added shortly, but we’ll get into that more when the time in the storyline comes. I also have ideas for more belts, but for now, we’ll start with these. The four titles we’ll have are:

IMPERIAL GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP: This is the big one! The most awesomest Warrior of them all will hold this belt!

INTERPROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP: Some might call it a “secondary belt”. We call it a sign that the holder is destined for greatness.

CHAMPIONSHIP OF FORTITUDE: While any belt in HIW will be prestigious to hold, the real prestige in this belt is in keeping it. Once awarded, this belt will be defended every single week without fail, making this belt both a blessing and a curse. How long can you go until your body gives out, and you are conquered?

TWIN DRAGONS CHAMPIONSHIP: This would be your standard tag team championship.
